Gerald Teo is the Co-founder of The TENG Company and sits on the Editorial Panel for the Chinese Music Instrumental Grading Examinations run by The TENG Academy.
Gerald obtained his Honours and Masters Degrees from the University of New South Wales, Australia along with a Licentiate from the Royal School of Music in Cello. In 2010, he graduated with a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from the National Institute of Education.
As a resident cellist for the TENG Ensemble, Gerald is a much sought-after artiste and has performed extensively around the world with numerous music groups and orchestras. Gerald also coaches many esteemed Chinese Orchestras & String Ensembles in various institutions from Primary, Secondary and Tertiary levels. He also dedicates much of his time coaching many talented performers; many of whom have performed in various Music Ensembles and National Youth Orchestras, with some having been inspired to continue pursuing a career in music.
