Registration for the Examinations 2024 is now closed
The registration for the Chinese Instrumental Music Grading Examinations 2024 is now closed. Candidates will receive the notification of their examination details in end-October by email.

Registration for the Examinations 2024 is extended to 15 September 2024!
Registration for the Examinations 2024 is extended, the deadline for submission of the registration is now 15 September 2024.
Candidates can now choose to take the Examinations either face-to-face or digitally.
Face-to-face Examinations will be conducted from 25 November 2024 to 7 December 2024, at Confucius Institute-NTU. Candidates who opt for digital Examinations will need to submit their videos by 10 November 2024.

Register For The Examinations Seminar Series!
The TENG Company presents the Chinese Instrumental Music Grading Examinations Seminar Series, on 1 September 2024, at Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre!
Featuring the Dizi and Pipa, the seminars invite audiences into the finer points of the Grading pieces, expounding on the various repertoire featured in the Examination’s syllabus.
The Seminar Series will be conducted in Mandarin.

The registration for the Chinese Instrumental Music Grading Examinations for MOE Direct School Admission Exercise (DSA) applicants has closed.

Examination Registration for DSA Applicants
The registration for the Chinese Instrumental Music Grading Examinations for MOE Direct School Admission Exercise (DSA) applicants is open from 11 March 2024 to 28 March 2024. Click here to register or download the registration form here.
The Examinations will be held physically, on 3 & 6 May 2024. Candidates will be notified of the examination details by 12 April 2024.
Results and certificates will be posted to candidates by Singpost Local Tracked Mail Service from 27 May 2024.

Posting of Results and Certificates
Thank you for taking your Chinese Instrumental Music Grading Examinations with us.
For candidates who have selected and made payment for Local Registered Service or Overseas Registered Service, the results and certificates will be mailed out to the addresses given in the registration from 2 January 2024.
For candidates who have selected Bulk posting to schools and/or instructors, please check with the schools and/or instructors on the status of posting.

There will be no disclosure of examination results before 2 January 2024.

Error In Gaoyin Sheng Volume 3 Scores
There are errors to the scores for Gaoyin Sheng Grade 8 piece - Turkish March. Please email grading@thetengcompany.com to request for the amended scores.
